About me/bio

For 30 years I’ve devoted my life to learning and teaching movement and healing modalities.
Most of my 30 years prior I spent pushing my body with athletics and performance—creating tightness and pain.
Then I discovered yoga and so began the journey of using my body not for achievement, but for healing. Yoga opened a door to healing, but there was a LOT to learn to be able to help myself and others get out of pain and truly heal.
My pursuit led to the study and practice of Somatics, Pilates and Franklin Method Imagery.
This combination of my decades in athletics and my decades in healing give me the ability to see the cause of people’s pain in their movement.
It’s true. I can look at how you move and see what’s causing your pain.
I can also see the small shifts you can make to get out of pain.
At the right pace for you.
I’ve done this for hundreds of people over 20 years, showing them how to make small changes in how they move their body to eliminate pain for good.
My understanding of the body and my ability to see the cause of pain in movement, provide the secret sauce you’ve been missing on your way toward a pain-free and active life.
