Christa has had two drives in her life – figure skating and how to make sense of life. She began skating at 8, performed as a professional figure skater until age 35, and began studying meditation and yoga at 26.

Cancer ended Christa’s skating career, but it only increased her desire and drive to understand the body and share that understanding with others.

In addition to figure skating, Christa has studied, practiced, and taught yoga, somatics, Pilates, andThe Franklin Method of Imagery.

The Franklin Method, a system of anatomical embodiment using movement, touch, and imagery, is the transformational tool that underlies all of Christa’s work.

Christa’s passion is giving people ways to feel more in their body to increase their choices.

She is excited to share this simple but unknown tool with adult figure skaters.
